About the poets:

Morgan Parker's first book, Other People's Comfort Keeps Me Up At Night, was selected by Eileen Myles for The 2013 Gatewood Prize and is forthcoming from Switchback Books. Recent poems appear or are forthcoming in Tin House, jubilat, and Forklift, Ohio. A Cave Canem fellow, graduate of NYU’s Creative Writing MFA program, and poetry editor for Coconut Magazine, Morgan lives in Brooklyn and at www.morgan-parker.com.

Ali Power is an editor at Rizzoli International Publications and teaches literature at Pace University. She is the editor of New York School Painters & Poets (Rizzoli, October 2014) and co-founder of Maggy Poetry Magazine. Power's poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Bort Quarterly, LIT, Forklift, Ohio, Painted Bride Quarterly, the PEN Poetry Series, Washington Square, and elsewhere. Her chapbook YOU AMERICANS was published by Green Zone Editions in 2008.

Danniel Schoonebeek’s first book of poems, American Barricade, is out now from YesYes Books. A chapbook, Family Album, was published by Poor Claudia in 2013, and an EP of recorded poems, Trench Mouth, is available from Black Cake Records. His work has appeared in Poetry, Tin House, Boston Review, Fence, BOMB, Indiana Review, jubilat,  Denver Quarterly, and elsewhere. He writes a column on poetry for The American Reader, hosts the Hatchet Job reading series, and edits the PEN Poetry Series. In 2015, Poor Claudia will release his second book, a travelogue called C’est La Guerre.
