Thought Edge Insolvent: Genya Turovskaya, Moina Pam Dick & Jeremy Hoevenaar

Moina Pam Dick (aka Mina/Misha/Gregoire Pam Dick et al.) is the author of Moira of Edges, Moira the Tart (OPR, 2019), this is the fugitive (Essay Press, 2016), Metaphysical Licks (Book*hug, 2014) and Delinquent (Futurepoem, 2009). Her book I am writing you from afar is forthcoming from Black Sun Lit in 2020. With Oana Avasilichioaei, she is the cotranslator of Suzanne Leblanc’s The Thought House of Philippa (Book*hug, 2015). Her writing has been misadapted into French by Montreal poet Steve Savage. Also a visual artist and virtual philosopher, Dick lives in New York City.

Genya Turovskaya was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and grew up in New York City. She is the author of The Breathing Body of This Thought (Black Square Editions) as well as numerous chapbooks. Her poetry and translations of contemporary Russian poets have appeared in A Public Space, Asymptote, Chicago Review, Conjunctions, Fence, Gulf Coast, jubilat, Octopus, PEN Poetry, Sangam Poetry, Seedings, The Elephants, and other publications. She is the translator of Aleksandr Skidan's Red Shifting (Ugly Duckling Presse). She is the co-translator of Elena Fanailova's The Russian Version (Ugly Duckling Presse), which won the University of Rochester's Three Percent award for Best Translated Book of Poetry. She is also a co-translator of Arkadii Dragomoshchenko's Endarkenment: Selected Poems (Wesleyan). She holds an MFA from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College. She lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Jeremy Hoevenaar is the author of Cold Mountain Mirror Displacement (American Books), Our Insolvency (Resolving Host), and Insolvency, Insolvency! (Ugly Duckling Presse). Writing has variously appeared in The Recluse, The Brooklyn Rail, A Perimeter, 6x6, Elderly, 'Pider, Across the Margin and other publications. New work is forthcoming in Prelude Magazine, the Believer, and in the anthology 'Ritual and Capital' (Wendy's Subway/Bard Graduate Center).
